Ever heard of a man named Christian Louboutin? If you haven't then this blog entry is a MUST. Louboutin was born and raised in Paris where he would sneak out of school at age 12 to watch the showgirls at Paris nightclubs. What he paid attention to while he was there wasn't the attractive girls but his interest was concentrated at their luxurious and detailed costumes. He was highly fascinated by the embroidery and body of their heels. Louboutin stated about his inspiration for his signature heels, "The showgirls influenced me alot. If you like high heels, it's really the ultimate high heel - it's all about the legs, how they carry themselves, the embellishment of the body. They are ultimate icons." Since 1992 his designs have incorporated the shiny, red-lacquered soles that have become famous world wide. His faboulous shoes have been seen on celebrities such as, Angelina Jolie, Kim Kardashian, Sarah Jessica Parker and Rihanna. Another big fan is the singer and actress, Jennifer Lopez.
